The Apple CarPlay is a software that allows your vehicles' head unit to be a controller and a display for any iOS device. Essentially, it creates a system wherein you can connect your iPhone or iOS device to your vehicle and use the functionalities of your iOS device on the head unit of your vehicle. This will allow you to make calls, dictate text messages, listen to music, use sat-nav, and many other iOS device functions without having to take your hands off the wheel.
