How to Retrieve the Factory Keyless Entry Code using FORScan
If you wish to retrieve the factory keyless entry code on your Ford vehicle but not sure what to do, using the FORScan software is the way to go. Here's a guide on how to do it.
A Youtube video created by Shop Talk shows the step-by-step guide on how to do the process with FORScan. Check it out on the video below.
The keyless entry feature is perfect for those who often misplace their car keys or for those who don't want to use keys at all when opening the doors of their Ford vehicle. Oftentimes you will see a small number pad at the driver's side door, that you need to punch a specific combination of code in order to unlock or lock the vehicle. Usually, it comes with a 5-digit default factory code that you may be able to reset. This becomes useless though if you are locked out of your car and forgot about the code. There are also times that the entry code was not passed on to the new owner when buying a used vehicle. When this happens, it's essential that you know how to locate and retrieve the factory keyless entry code of your vehicle.
