A Video Guide on How to View Live Data with FORScan

· · · Comments

One of the awesome features of FORScan is it lets you view live data coming from the various sensors of your vehicle. It allows you to monitor and perform diagnostic tests on your vehicle with ease.

A Youtube video created by Steve of SY Diagnostics shows us a walkthrough on how to navigate the different sections of FORScan to view live data. Check it out on the video below:

There are three ways to view live data in FORScan - via dashboard, oscilloscope, or table format. The dashboard section displays up to 30 gauges of your vehicle perimeters from your sensor data. The Oscilloscope section, on the other hand, displays up to 8 vehicle perimeter IDs (PIDs) simultaneously from your sensors in a graphical form. The third section allows you to view live data from sensors in a table format.

Viewing the live data of your vehicle allows you to monitor and diagnose sections of your vehicle when doing ABS brakes, DPF regeneration, pump learn, pilot injection learn, rev engine to define RPM, and many more!

Special thanks to Steve of SY Diagnostics for this  amazing video. For more of his videos, check out his Youtube channel here.
