How to Bleed Brakes using ABS Features with FORScan

Brake bleeding is the process of removing air from the brake line system of your vehicle. Small amounts of air may accumulate in the brake line over time. This is the reason why you'll experience spongy brakes or, at worse, the brake pedal requires to be pushed almost to the floor before it functions. If large amounts of air are trapped this could become very dangerous and could lead to complete brake failure. Bleeding brakes will ensure that your brakes are excellent condition and fully-functional every time you use it.  

Bleeding brakes also need to be applied when changing pads and/or discs on your vehicle. The process will remove the old brake fluid out of the system of your vehicle.

Bleeding brakes can be done using FORScan through accessing the ABS module features of your vehicle. In the video by Spark Plug Steve he showed how to go through this process set-by-step on a Ford Fiesta. Check it out at the video below.
