How To Enable Keyfob Window Control on your BMW with NCS Expert
If your BMW does not have the functionality to roll up or down its windows using the keyfob, you can enable it by coding your BMW vehicle. Here’s the process on how to do it.
A video created by Bmw Euro Tuning shows the step-by-step process of how to enable the keyfob window control on his 2007 BMW 525i using the NCS Expert software. Check it out on the video below:
The keyfob window control feature is enabled by default in most BMW vehicles produce for the European countries. However, for vehicles produced for the North American market, the feature is restricted due to government regulations. The only way to use the feature is to activate it by coding your BMW vehicle.
By activating the keyfob window control feature, you’ll be able to roll up or down the windows by pressing and holding on to the unlock button. It will stop once you release the button, allowing you complete control on how high or low you want your windows opened. The function also allows control on the opening of the sunroof, if your vehicle has one.
