If your BMW does not have the functionality to roll up or down its windows using the keyfob, you can enable it by coding your BMW vehicle. Here’s the process on how to do it.

The keyfob window control feature is enabled by default in most BMW vehicles produce for the European countries. However, for vehicles produced for the North American market, the feature is restricted due to government regulations. The only way to use the feature is to activate it by coding your BMW vehicle.

By activating the keyfob window control feature, you’ll be able to roll up or down the windows by pressing and holding on to the unlock button. It will stop once you release the button, allowing you complete control on how high or low you want your windows opened. The function also allows control on the opening of the sunroof, if your vehicle has one.
