· · · Comments

The Ford GOAT Mode is a new feature introduced to the latest Ford Bronco units released in 2021. The GOAT Mode stands for “Goes Over Any type of Terrain”, which is a feature meant for off-road driving. Some of the features of the GOAT Mode though are not fully enabled. There are some advanced functionalities that you can unlock with the use of the FORScan app. Here’s the process on how to do it.

A video guide created by the Eville Truck Youtube channel shows a step-by-step process on how you can unlock all the modes in GOAT Mode on your Ford Bronco. The video features the OHP USB OBD2 adapter in action. Check it out on the video below.

A Ford Bronco equipped with the GOAT Mode is a vehicle built for outdoor off-the-road rides. The GOAT Modes will allow you to quickly shift your vehicle configuration to adjust to the changing of the terrain.

The GOAT Mode offers the standard and advanced modes. The Standard GOAT Modes include the following:

Normal Mode

This is the default setting every time your start your vehicle. This mode is meant for the normal driving conditions ideal for the typical highway speeds.

Eco Mode

Eco Mode, as the name implies, is the economy setting that helps you maximize your vehicle’s fuel efficiency for an increased driving range.

Sport Mode

This is setting adds a sporting feel to your ride. It allows you to accelerate faster and steer easier.

Slippery Mode

This mode will help drivers adjust to ice/snow or wet conditions by providing the vehicle with better traction and control.

Sand Mode

This mode is meant for off-road driving with loose dry sand terrain or soft deep snow conditions.

Here are the Advanced GOAT Modes:

Mud/Ruts Mode

This mode will set the ideal engine power needed by your vehicle to run through uneven ground, thick muds, or ruts.

Rock Crawl Mode

This mode is best suited for off-road rock-climbing terrains that require a specific traction and control.

Baja Mode

The Baja Mode provides your vehicle with better suspension suited for high-speed off-road driving on loose or sandy terrains.
