How to Install Remote Start on your Vehicle with FORScan
The Remote Start is a Ford system that allows you to start your vehicle's ignition from as far as 300 feet away. If your Ford vehicle currently has no Remote Start system, you can install one and activate it using FORScan.
A Youtube video from moostang09 shows a comprehensive guide on how to properly install and configure a factory remote start using our very own OHP OBD2 USB adapter. Check it out at the video below:
You will usually find the Remote Start button at the upper part of the keyfob. Its extended operating range allows you to start your engine before entering your vehicle at a push of a button. The Remote Start System is particularly useful on freezing cold days. It saves you the hassle of walking outside in the cold just to start your vehicle. Having a Remote Start system allows you to stay comfortable by enabling you to remotely condition your vehicle's temperature before you hop in.
