The Ford MyKey system provides for main safety features. These are:
1. Top Speed Settings - If this feature is activated, you can limit your vehicle's speed to 65, 70, 75, and 80 miles per hour. The driver won't be able to accelerate once the set speed limit is reached.
2. The Belt Minder - This feature automatically mutes the vehicle's audio system and set a six-second alarm every 30 seconds until the seat belts are fastened by the front seat occupants.
3. Earlier Low Fuel warning: You can set an earlier low fuel warning different from the standard low fuel warning of your vehicle to offer more time for inexperienced drivers to take action on the diminishing fuel.
4. Screening Radio Content: You can limit the volume of your audio system to up to 45% of the max volume and restrict certain radio stations labeled as "explicit".
