· · · Comments

When installing a reversing camera to your vehicle, you will need to code it in order to activate and integrate to the Ford Sync 3 system. This can be done with the use of FORScan.

A video guide created by Advanced In-Car Technologies shows the process on how to activate a newly installed reversing camera on a Ford Sync 3 system. He used the FORScan software to code it on his Ford Nugget Camper Van. Check it out on the video below:

The reversing camera, or also known as a backup camera, is a camera designed to be attached a the rear of a vehicle. It's main purpose is to help drivers minimize rear blind spots when backing up and avoid backup collisions. The reversing camera can be integrated to the Ford SYNC3 system to easily activiate and configure its functionalities and settings.

Special thanks to Advanced In-Car Technologies for this amazing video guide. Please subscribe and check out more of his videos here.

Note: For FORScan coding modifications, we recommend using the OBD2 USB adapter for it provides a more stable connection.
