How to Code the Video In Motion on your BMW with E-sys
If you are planning to unlock the Video in Motion function on your BMW, here’s how to do it using the E-sys software.
The Youtube channel Vehicular DIY has uploaded a video showing a guide on how he was able to code Video in Motion on his G20 BMW with E-sys. Check it out in the video below.
The Video In Motion function allows your BMW to play videos while moving. This feature can only be unlocked if your BMW model has the option of playing videos while parked. The Video in Motion is a good feature to have if you want to keep your passengers entertained while on a long journey. Normally, the Video in Motion feature is disabled by default on most BMWs for road safety reasons. Thus, it is vital that you use this feature responsibly.
In order to unlock the feature on your BMW, you need to have the right software and tools for your BMW model. For an F-series and G-series BMW model, you will need the E-sys software and the ENET cable to connect with your car’s OBD2 port.
