How to Enable Reverse Tilt Mirrors with FORScan
The reverse tilt mirror is a handy feature that allows your side mirror to tilt downward when the gear is shifted to Reverse (R). The side mirror will then return to its original position when the gear is changed. This function improves your visibility when reversing your vehicle. You can program the reverse tilt mirrors on your vehicle via FORScan, by applying the following values:
DDM Module
740-03-01 Fxxx xx (Works only on mirrors with memory)
740-13-01 Fxxx
PDM Module
741-03-01 Fxxx xx (For a 2018 truck: 740/741-13-01. May require FCxx.)
741-13-01 Fxxx (Go to this link for the instructions on how to properly configure this mod)
To apply the changes and enable the Reverse Tilt Mirrors function using FORScan, you will need a reliable OBD2 device. Take a look at these OHP OBD2 devices that work flawlessly with FORScan.
Note: For FORScan coding modifications, we recommend using the OBD2 USB adapter for it provides a more stable connection.
